We’re looking for an enthusiastic Community Outreach Representative to create brand awareness, to foster customer loyalty for our client in the wireless / cell phone industry and to build strong community relationships through exceptional customer service skills. As a Community Outreach Representative, you will be the face of the brand, as a government funded program, working directly within the community to promote free lifeline devices and cell phone services with one of the largest giants in the industry and taking the contract from inception to the end zone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent our client within the local community who received benefits (from either the state of California or Federal), creating a positive brand image and promoting free wireless services.
- Qualify people through their California benefits and save money on their monthly expenses.
- Follow up on leads given by our client to fulfill needs within a local territory effectively and efficiently.
- Engage with customers to explain product offerings, answer questions, and provide information that fosters brand loyalty.
- Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and outreach activities to increase brand awareness.
- Build lasting relationships with community members by offering personalized service and support.
- Work closely with internal teams to meet goals related to customer acquisition and retention.
- Work with SalesForce closely for lead generation and tracking.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect easily with people.
- Passionate about working in a people-facing environment and engaging with the local community.
- Experience in community outreach, retail, or customer service is a plus.
- Solution oriented mentality with the ability to show patience and grace for those that aren't technologically savvy.
- Enthusiasm for the wireless / cell phone industry and the ability to learn about new products and services.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
